Pond Infants and Toddlers: Birthdays and Warm Welcomes!

Hello families,

This month, we will be welcoming back Katie from her maternity leave! She will return to work on Thursday, March 1st. We will also be welcoming her son, Michael to the Cozy Cove! How exciting!

We will also be celebrating a few birthdays as well!

Weston and Nora will celebrate their second Birthday on Friday, March 2nd!

Henry will celebrate his second Birthday on Monday, March 12th.

Lastly, Katherine will celebrate her first Birthday on Saturday, March 31st!

We wish them all a very Happy Birthday!

Alex and Tessa Smith will be spending some time at home. Their last day ast Gretchen’s House will be Thursday, January 5. We will miss you!

Pond Infants and Toddlers: Reminders

Hello Families,

We wanted to update you about some future happenings here at Gretchen’s House.  We have almost completed the transition process and it seemed to go very smoothly. All children and teachers are beginning to settle into their new classrooms. Within the new classrooms, Katie and Jamie will work in Cozy Cove, Seema and Misty will work in Shady Spot and Amanda and Erin will work in Water’s Edge! If you have any questions about the changes, please feel free to speak with your child’s family group teacher.

Our next change is that Katie will begin her Maternity leave during the Holiday break. Her plan is to return to Gretchen’s House at the beginning of March. Therefore, during the month of January and February, Tess (Our Building Resource Teacher) will be working in Cozy Cove with Jamie. During the month of January we will also be welcoming back Carrie. She will begin working part time during the mornings starting the week of January 16! We are very excited to welcome her back! Thank you for all of your cooperation as we worked to meet the center’s staffing needs.

Lastly, we wanted to send out a reminder that we will be closed on Monday, January 16 for staff training.

Hello Families!

This week was a busy week for the infants and toddlers. They enjoyed a visit from Clifford the big red dog. They also enjoyed celebrating at our Holiday party. Some spent time making cookies, ornaments and dancing to Holiday songs. We hope you enjoy these photos below.
