Cozy Cove Infants Paint with Sponges

The Infants used sponges and their hands to cover their paper in paint.  On top of creating works of art, the children were also able to experience the following Key Developmental Indicators: Initiative, Nonverbal Communication, Exploring Art Materials, Cause and Effect, and Moving with Objects

Pond Infant and Toddler Head Teacher Katie Kresta is originally from Toledo, Ohio and moved to the Ann Arbor area in May 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University. Katie has been with Gretchen’s House since June 2009. Katie enjoys playing sports when she has free time – anything outdoors. When time outdoors isn’t an option, she enjoys snuggling up with a good book.
